Cornell notes are a way for students to keep track of concepts that they need to look over for exams. Every cornell note should have your name, class and period, and the date on the top right hand corner. Each note should also have an objective or a topic along with an essential question to help with organization and what the notes are about. The paper should be divided into three parts, a large right hand side where the notes are going to go, a narrow left hand side where questions and key concepts will go, and enough room at the bottom to write a summary which will include what the notes were about and information that you will be tested on. While studying, the left hand side and the summary, along with highlighted or any marked things on the right hand side, will be what you study the most.
